As well as having to raise money for charity, we will also need aid towards our journey. We calculate that 80% of any potential donation will go towards the charities themselves and a 20% allocation to funding our intrepid trip. This will include such commodities as: locating and purchasing the car, petrol, ferry journey from Dover to Calais, visas for the various countries we pass through, food for the journey, maintenance costs for the car, amongst other things.
